"Handy Zip" ist ein neues Programm zur Datenkomprimierung und Dateiverwaltung für S60 Smartphones.

Per E-Mail lassen sich jetzt mehr Nachrichten mit weniger Datenverkehr auf dem Smartphone empfangen und versenden, ohne daß diese mit dem PC synchronisiert werden müssen.

Nur mit "Handy Zip" kann man erfahren, welche Dateien in einem per E-Mail empfangenen ZIP-Archiv enthälten sind. Außerdem lassen sich mehrere Dateien in einem ZIP-Archiv im Anhang einer E-Mail-Nachricht übermitteln, statt diese einzeln senden zu müssen. Der frei gewordene Speicherplatz läßt sich für neue Dokumente oder Bilder benutzen – z.B. als ZIP-Datei. Eine spätere Wiederherstellung ist jederzeit problemlos möglich.

"Handy Zip" für Symbian OS S60 2nd und 3rd Edition:

• Öffnen, lesen und bearbeiten der an die E-Mails angehängten Zip-komprimierten Dateien
