June 24, 2005 – Epocware and Handy Day 2005, an application developed by Epocware, are announced the Developer of the Year and the Best Application for Work 2005. Handango, the leading provider of mobile downloads, announced the winners of the Handango Champion Awards 2005. At this annual ceremony held while Handango Partner Summit, Handango recognizes the best applications that provide customers with innovative solutions and honors the development companies that made a significant contribution to the mobile software ecosystem throughout the previous year. The winners in each category are chosen by a panel of industry experts and media across all mobile platforms and software categories. Solutions by Epocware / Paragon Software Group that promote Symbian OS software experience and development from year to year get the highest marks and awards both from customers, software providers and manufactures. This year Handango Champion Awards are especially remarkable for the company. Epocware is mentioned twice among the Champion Award Winners 2005:
This is not the first time when Epocware and its products are distinguished by Handango. Epocware was awarded for the Outstanding Achievements in Symbian OS software development in 2002. Handy Day, a powerful productivity and ultimate shell application by Epocware, was announced the Best Productivity Application for Symbian OS by Handango customers and won People's Choice awards for the spring and autumn 2004. Handy Day proved its popularity by being always in top five applications for UIQ at Handango since the first version release in February 2003. The two awards in 2005 are an additional evidence of Epocware / Paragon Software Group position as the world’s leading developer of personal productivity applications for smartphones and the value of its high quality services.
